Atlanta Area Window and Door- A New Era

I'm still getting this blog underway, given, but I'm really hoping to see some traffic coming through this blog and onto our newly developed website.

I'm quite proud of our website to be honest and proud of the work we've done to get things growing here at Atlanta Area Window and Door. When I came to work for this company last year, we had a website that failed to impress and we were not getting many internet leads at all. People weren't coming to our website and booking appointments for free quotes because of our lack of web presence. Now, we have a sharp web presence and this blog is a complimentary for us to discuss windows, doors, gutters and even work we've done through the years.

Yes we're still cutting our teeth on the blog and website but with consistency and feedback I think we can see Atlanta Area Window and Door have one more way to reach customers and even have old customers post their stories here!

Leafproof in Atlanta

Atlanta Area Window and Door has been replacing and installing windows and doors for over 25 years now. Recently we decided to start selling additional products in order to better serve our customers and increase our field of service all around.

We began carrying Leafproof gutter protection this past year as a way to meet customer needs in Atlanta and provide what we believe is the most affordable and effective gutter protection anyone could get. Leafproof is an all aluminum gutter protection system manufactured in Omaha, Nebraska by Eran Industries and since 1995 has already established itself as a premier home improvement product.

One of Our Stories from Decatur

A true story of one of our customer's experience working with us last summer. We got work with Jenn last year and were had the opportunity to install windows, doors, and gutter protection. Here's what she had to say about working with us.

"I have had the good fortune of doing business with Atlanta Area Windows and Door Co. on two occassions and both times they have exceeded my expectations. First, we replaced all of the windows and one door in our house and were expecting to have the process be somewhat disruptive to our home in some way even with a really good company. I am glad to say we were proved wrong on all accounts. From the initial sales consultation with Jim it was just simple, we were not overwhelmed with options that did not interest us. He listened to what we wanted and gave us a no hassle quote. We scheduled the installation and the installers showed up and had the old windows and door out and the new ones in with no mess or inconvenience on our part. They were clean and courteous and we love our new windows!

Last fall we decided to get gutter guards installed and when I found out that AAWD had started offering these products they were first to call on my list. Some of my gutters were leaking and I was sure they would tell me I needed new gutters before they could help me. Instead they came in cleaned them out, sealed them up and put the guards on in less than one day. No leaks and NO LEAVES.

Here's a few snapshots of our window installation we did in the Chimney Springs neighborhood in Marietta, Ga. We put in Vista vinyl windows and capped the brickmold on each set of double hung windows. Of course they look great!

Take note of the close ups of the aluminum capped brickmold to give you a good idea of what capped brickmold looks like. It protects the trim around the window and gives it a clean finished look.

What can we possibly have to talk about concerning windows and doors on a blog? You walk through them, you look through them...so what's the big deal?
